Your expertise will help students access their education and reach developmental milestones through collaborative therapy practices.
What you'll bring:
- Active COTA or Occupational Therapist license in Colorado
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment
- Ability to work independently and manage your caseload efficiently
- Reliable transportation to travel within your assigned geographic area
Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing individualized therapy plans designed by an Occupational Therapist (if COTA role)
- Supporting students' fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills to help them thrive in the classroom
- Tracking student progress and maintaining accurate documentation
- Consulting with educators and caregivers to extend therapeutic strategies into daily routines
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing insights into students’ needs and progress
