Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Fairfield, CT

Qualifications & Experience:
- Active COTA license required
- Previous experience in school-based settings, especially with a K-12 population, highly desirable
- Solid understanding of occupational therapy support within an educational framework
- Familiarity with IEP processes and relevant documentation
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services under OT supervision, in alignment with students' IEP goals
- Document student progress and maintain appropriate records
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to maximize student participation and success
- Assist in creating adaptive strategies and accommodations for classroom activities
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss student needs and monitor outcomes
- Contribute to the development and modification of intervention strategies as needed
Additional Details:
- Monday to Friday, 6.5-hour workdays, not including lunch
