Qualifications & Skills:
- Current and active California COTA license required
- Demonstrated experience in a school setting, supporting student outcomes
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with teachers, therapists, and school staff
- Adaptability and compassion to serve a diverse student caseload spanning kindergarten through 12th grade
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct support to students across various school sites, focusing on developing fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
- Implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals set by the therapy team
- Track progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment while adapting strategies to meet each student’s unique needs
