As a vital member of the special education team, you’ll provide direct therapy services, collaborate with school staff and families, and implement individualized education plans. Key Qualifications:
- Active COTA certification and licensure in California
- At least 1 year of pediatric experience (preferably in a school setting)
- Strong communication skills and adaptability
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams
- Reliable transportation to cover 2-5 nearby schools as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Support IEP goals and document therapy sessions in alignment with district and state requirements
- Communicate progress with teachers, parents, and related staff
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for program improvement
- Adapt interventions and strategies for diverse student needs
Interviews will be held on July 17th between 1-3 PM Pacific Time, providing a quick and efficient hiring process.
Compensation for this position starts at approximately $50 per hour. For candidates with exceptional, relevant experience, there may be flexibility to discuss approval for a higher rate.
