Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Active California COTA license in good standing
- Prior experience working within a school-based setting is essential
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt therapy interventions for a wide range of ages and abilities
- Willingness to travel between multiple school sites as needed
Position Responsibilities:
- Carry out occupational therapy interventions as directed by supervising Occupational Therapists
- Support students’ functional skill development to enhance participation in the educational setting
- Collaborate with educators and related service providers to help integrate therapy goals into the classroom
- Record and maintain accurate documentation of services provided
- Participate in team meetings, student evaluations, and IEP processes
