Desired Qualifications:
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in California
- Prior professional experience within a school-based setting
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively at various locations
- Ability to adapt and provide therapeutic support to diverse K-12 caseloads
- Commitment to fostering student growth and participation in all school activities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions to meet individual student needs across assigned school sites
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision and guidance of an Occupational Therapist
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collect data, maintain accurate session documentation, and monitor student progress
- Contribute to a positive, student-centered learning environment at each site
