Seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to make an impact across multiple educational sites for the upcoming school year. You will work as a floater COTA, partnering with teachers, staff, and licensed therapists across several school sites to deliver high-quality occupational therapy services. The role is designed for adaptability and variety, providing therapeutic interventions to a diverse student population.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid COTA license in the state
- School experience or strong interest in working within an educational setting
- Enthusiastic about serving students of varying ages and abilities (Pre K–12th grade)
- Skilled in communication, collaboration, and flexibility
- Responsible, organized, and able to self-manage movement across sites during the week
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver prescribed occupational therapy interventions as directed by the OTR
- Support students with adapted equipment, sensory integration, motor skills, and other OT needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in accordance with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program goals
- Adapt to shifting caseloads and building assignments, providing coverage where most needed
- Foster welcoming and supportive relationships with students, families, and school staff
Position Details & Perks:
- Contract runs from September 3, 2026, through June 24, 2027
- 29 hours weekly; possible increase to 30 hours depending on candidate preference
- Rotating across multiple nearby sites for a varied and engaging workweek
