Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant School-Based Contract
Part-Time School-Based Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant – Preschool–Grade 8 Caseload
A great school district in the Provincetown, MA area is now looking to hire a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a part-time, in-person position providing services to students from preschool through grade 8.

Responsibilities:
· Provide occupational therapy services and/or support services to students under appropriate supervision, if applicable.
· Support students with fine motor, visual motor, visual perception, sensory motor, developmental, and functional skill needs.
· Help students access the Provincetown Schools curriculum and participate in school and community life to the greatest extent possible.
· Implement therapy plans and interventions based on student goals and individual needs.
· Collaborate with teachers, families, related service providers, and school staff.
· Assist with documentation, progress monitoring, and treatment carryover.
· Provide services to students ages preschool through grade 8.
Experience:
· Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
· Experience supporting fine motor, visual motor/visual perception, and sensory motor skill development preferred.
Education/Requirements:
· Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license required.
· Must meet all state and district requirements for school-based OT/COTA practice.
Employment Type: Part-time, Contract
Assignment Dates: 2026–2027 School Year
Work Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Schedule: 2 days per week
Location: Provincetown, MA
Work Setting: In-person
