Qualifications:
- Valid California COTA license required
- Prior experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Experience with assistive technology (AT) devices is highly desirable
- Meets any additional district or state-specific certification requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with educators and other therapists
Responsibilities:
- Support student access to educational materials and participation using AT devices
- Implement treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals, in coordination with OTs and the AT Specialist
- Document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records
- Engage with a multidisciplinary team to promote student independence and success
- Participate in meetings as needed, contributing to IEP development and updating goals
- Travel as needed to assigned sites within the school system
