Qualifications & Experience:
- Active California COTA license required
- Prior experience in school settings or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
- Familiarity or hands-on experience with AT devices is highly valued
- Ability to adapt to working at multiple sites, as the caseload may vary
- Strong communication and collaborative skills, vital for team-based support
- Knowledge of district- or state-specific guidelines, certifications, or unique compliance requirements as applicable
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an OT
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and family members to develop and implement strategies for student success
- Assist the AT Specialist by supporting and maintaining AT devices and solutions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized planning
- Maintain accurate records and documentation per school policies and state guidelines
- Deliver services in accordance with student IEPs and school directives
