Key Qualifications:
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
- Experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with multiple Occupational Therapists.
- Flexibility and confidence working itinerantly across several school sites.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and intervention to students as directed by supervising OTs.
- Follow prescribed treatment plans and adapt activities to meet diverse student needs.
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate updates.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable observations when necessary.
- Travel between designated campuses on a regular schedule.
- Help foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
