Qualifications:
- Current Ohio licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Educator certification required
- Previous school experience highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Support and collaborate with Occupational Therapists and educational staff
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Help develop and implement activities to foster students’ motor and adaptive skills
- Communicate effectively with faculty, students, and families
