ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a school district in Lincolnville, Maine. This is a part-time opportunity supporting students across a PreK–12th grade setting, with an ASAP start date.
Position Details
Location: Lincolnville, ME
Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Schedule: Part-time
Days: 2 days per week
Hours: Approximately 9 hours per week
Caseload: PreK–12
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Support students with their individual therapy and educational goals
Assist with implementing treatment plans and therapeutic activities
Monitor and document student progress
Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, special education staff, and other members of the school team
Help students develop skills that support participation and success in the school environment
Qualifications
Maine COTA License required
Previous school-based experience preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively with students across a variety of age groups and needs
