Key Qualifications:
- Active COTA license in California
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is required
- Ability to effectively manage an elementary caseload
- Comfortable working onsite and engaging directly with students and staff
- Positive, collaborative approach to therapy and teamwork
- Ready to participate in a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services according to each student’s individualized education plan (IEP)
- Implement interventions to boost fine motor, sensory, and functional skills in the school setting
- Work with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student engagement and performance
- Accurately document student progress and provide input during IEP meetings
- Adapt activities and approaches to meet diverse student needs
- Maintain professional standards and compliance with school and state guidelines
This opportunity features a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00AM-3:30PM, at a single elementary school site, allowing you to build strong relationships and observe meaningful growth.
