Key Qualifications:
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Valid Kansas COTA license from the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts
- Current NBCOT Certification
- Ability to meet all Kansas school credentialing requirements
- Prior experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Implement student treatment plans and individualized education program (IEP) objectives
- Help students build fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional abilities
- Maintain detailed documentation of services, student progress, and outcomes
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary partners
- Make recommendations for classroom accommodations and adaptive equipment
