Soliant is seeking a dedicated and passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a supportive school district for the upcoming school year. This full-time position will primarily serve a high school caseload, working alongside an Occupational Therapist to support students in achieving their educational and functional goals.
Responsibilities:
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct therapy services to high school students in individual and group settings
- Assist students with fine motor, sensory, self-help, and functional life skills
- Document student progress and maintain accurate service records
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, therapists, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed
- Maintain compliance with state and district regulations
Qualifications:
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
- Previous school-based experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with high school-aged students
