Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid COTA certification (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of pediatric therapy best practices
- Comfortable working collaboratively with educators, therapists, and families
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to multiple school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students following individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assist the supervising occupational therapist in planning and implementing interventions
- Accurately document student progress and session details
- Support classroom staff with strategies to enhance student participation in daily activities
- Travel between multiple school sites as scheduled
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students
