Applicants should ensure the following qualifications are met:
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania COTA license and active NBCOT certification
- Demonstrated experience working with students, ideally in schools or special education
- Ability to provide compassionate support to children with disabilities
- Flexibility and reliability to work across Carbon and/or Lehigh County as school needs dictate
- Availability for up to 35 hours per week during regular school days
- Commitment to attend in-person interviews and fulfill onboarding and clearance requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing student support plans
- Provide direct therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs and school goals
- Report on student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with school teams and families to optimize student participation and performance
- Adapt to changing assignments and work environments in a positive manner
