Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active COTA license in Washington (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in individualized treatment planning and data collection
- Ability to collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and other school personnel
- Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of a registered occupational therapist
- Support students with fine motor, sensory, and functional skill development in classroom and therapy settings
- Assist OT in the implementation of IEP goals and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff collaboration, and school team initiatives
- Help adapt classroom materials and environments to meet student needs
- Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and related service providers
