ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time, onsite school-based position in Shelton, Washington. This opportunity will support students in grades 5–12 while collaborating with a supervising Occupational Therapist (OT) who may provide virtual services.
Position Details
- Location: Shelton, WA
- Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Setting: Onsite
- Caseload: Students in grades 5–12
- Travel: Four schools within the district, each approximately one mile apart
- Supervision: Onsite COTA support for a district utilizing a virtual OT (VOCO)
Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under OT supervision.
- Support students in developing functional, fine motor, and school participation skills.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate service records.
- Collaborate with school staff and the supervising OT to support student needs.
Qualifications
- Active Washington State COTA credential required.
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
- Ability to travel between district school sites.
