Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a part-time opportunity during the 2026–2027 school year. This position offers the opportunity to support K–8 students while working alongside Occupational Therapists, educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams in a collaborative school environment.
Work Schedule:
* Monday – Friday

* 15–20 Hours per Week

Position Details:
* K–8 student population
* Collaborative and supportive educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the supervising Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans and student goals
* Provide direct occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
* Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, self-help, and functional skills
* Document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records
* Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success
* Assist with therapy materials, activities, and equipment management
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress discussions
Qualifications:
* Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
* Active California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required
* Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
* Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
