Experience a rewarding opportunity supporting students in a vibrant elementary school setting through a full-time contract position as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). The assignment runs from August 13, 2026, through June 9, 2027, with work hours from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active California COTA license required
- Demonstrated experience providing occupational therapy services within a school-based setting
- Ability to manage an elementary caseload and deliver support aligned with students’ individualized needs
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Positive, resourceful, and flexible approach to meeting daily challenges
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students at the school site
- Collaborate with educators and related service providers to ensure comprehensive support for each student
- Document all sessions and report on student progress
- Assist in developing and implementing individual therapy plans in line with IEP objectives
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for student success
- Maintain compliance with all district, state, and professional standards
