This contract position is ideal for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs) passionate about working with K-12 learners in vibrant educational communities. With full-time hours over the course of the 2026-2027 academic year, you’ll collaborate with supportive teams to help students build skills for success both in and out of the classroom.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to K-12 student needs.
- Work closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational goals.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Adapt strategies for both in-person and potential home health settings.
- Participate in team meetings, IEP planning, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania COTA or OT license.
- Previous experience in schools is highly valued, but motivated candidates eager to contribute are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and diverse educational teams.
