Qualifications:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credentials, with appropriate state licensure
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to liaise with supervising OT, teachers, and staff
- Ability to implement therapy plans and strategies as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Comfortable working onsite within an elementary school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapeutic services to elementary-age students, supporting individualized education plans
- Assist the Occupational Therapist in creating and executing treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
- Document student progress and communicate observations with the supervising OT and educational team
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that encourages student participation and growth
- Participate in meetings and professional development as needed
