Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant needed in Woodland, CA

Deliver impactful therapy and support to students of all ages by providing Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant services in a dynamic educational environment. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference, working closely with a diverse K-12 student body. You’ll collaborate with educational staff and families, designing and implementing individual plans to help each child achieve their best.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Valid licensure or eligibility as a COTA in the state
- Background in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy
- Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic interventions for K-12 age groups
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services across a K-12 caseload
- Provide thorough assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service staff on student progress
- Document sessions, maintain timely records, and contribute to IEP development
- Adapt techniques and modified environments to maximize student participation in school activities
- Attend required meetings, trainings, and handle typical documentation required in schools
Compensation for this role ranges from $37-$45 per hour, recognizing your expertise and commitment to student wellness.
