Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid state Occupational Therapy license
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and support personnel
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning atmosphere
Principal Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs and deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions within the school environment
- Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) focusing on students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Work alongside educators and staff to ensure interventions align with academic goals and classroom activities
- Maintain timely, accurate records and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to track student progress
- Educate teachers and parents on techniques that help students achieve greater independence and success
