Schedule: 35 Hours per Week (7:45 AM - 3:15 PM)

Occupational Therapist Job in Palatine, IL
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of eight Occupational Therapists across the district
- Serve on middle school building-level educational teams
- Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations to determine special education eligibility
- Provide Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) interventions and recommendations
- Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and related service providers
- Support students in developing functional, motor, sensory, and school participation skills
- Help ensure the generalization of skills across educational settings
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Qualifications
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) License
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for supporting students and educational success
