Occupational Therapist School Setting in Astoria, NY

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in New York State
- Experience in school settings or home health environments preferred
- Adaptability and flexibility in response to changing caseloads and populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to supporting the individualized needs of students
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver OT services to a daily caseload of approximately 10-12 students
- Assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions in school and home settings
- Document progress and communicate regularly with school teams and families
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other related service providers for optimal student outcomes
- Adjust approaches to therapy based on students’ evolving needs
