Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Colorado
- Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to design and implement effective, individualized therapy plans
- Adaptability and creative problem-solving abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas for improvement
- Develop, implement, and regularly monitor individualized treatment programs tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with educators and families to ensure students’ goals are supported in and out of the classroom
- Maintain clear and timely documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Provide training and resources to school staff to support the integration of occupational therapy strategies
