Key Qualifications:
- Active Arizona Occupational Therapy license required
- Previous experience in school, healthcare, or home health OT settings strongly preferred
- Expertise in developing and implementing IEPs and therapy plans
- Proficient in assessing and addressing fine and gross motor needs
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt instruction to various ages and needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy sessions and screenings to support students’ participation and independence in the academic environment
- Assess students' needs and create targeted, measurable treatment goals
- Document progress, maintain records, and communicate effectively with the IEP team and parents
- Deliver recommendations for classroom modifications and adaptive equipment
- Consult with staff to support students’ integration and success within the classroom
- Travel between assigned schools if required, attending meetings as needed
