This rewarding, contract-based opportunity is located near Baltimore, MD, and runs from August 2026 through the end of the school year, with potential for extension or a permanent placement. You’ll enjoy collaborating within a multidisciplinary team and working on an engaging K-12 caseload that will be discussed in more detail during the interview.
Requirements and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
- Active Maryland Occupational Therapist license or certification must be held prior to start.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred.
- Ability to work onsite, Monday through Friday (37.5 hours per week).
- Skills in assessment, direct intervention, and collaboration with educators and families.
- Dedication to providing inclusive, student-centered therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to a diverse K-12 population.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student outcomes.
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings.
- Maintain effective communication with school staff and administrators.
- Foster student independence and functional participation in academic and social activities.
