Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active license as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with Pre-K, elementary, middle, or high school students
- Knowledge of IEP documentation and implementation
- Strong collaboration skills to work with teachers, parents, and school staff
- Effective communication and organization abilities
- Adaptable approach, open to working with students ages Pre-K through 12th grade
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students individually and in small groups
- Assess and document students’ functional abilities and needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans in collaboration with an educational team
- Support students’ participation in classroom activities and curriculum
- Provide guidance and resources to teachers and families to reinforce strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting for student progress
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school protocols
