Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct occupational therapy services to high school students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conducting assessments to determine students’ needs and documenting progress
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals with classroom instruction
- Developing and implementing interventions to support students’ participation in academic and functional activities
- Maintaining accurate records and timely reporting in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to goal setting and monitoring
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Hold an active New Hampshire Occupational Therapy certificate
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, specifically with high school students, strongly preferred
- Skilled in developing and implementing successful intervention programs for adolescents
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of an educational team
- Committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all students
