Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy certification in New Hampshire (NH OT certificate required)
- Previous experience delivering OT services in a school setting, particularly with high school students
- Strong knowledge of current best practices within school-based occupational therapy
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Capacity to maintain thorough records and work within IEP frameworks
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions for students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create strategies that foster student success
- Document progress, develop reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide consultation and training to staff on accommodations and adaptations to support student needs within the classroom
- Foster a supportive environment that promotes student independence and participation in school routines
