Position Type: Onsite School-Based Contract
A school district in the Bellevue, WA area is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist for an immediate, short-term assignment.
This position is ideal for an experienced school-based OT who is available to step into an established educational setting and provide support for approximately 4 weeks.
Responsibilities include:
Evaluate students and manage an assigned OT caseload
Participate in special education evaluations and reevaluations
Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
Develop and implement OT goals, accommodations, and student supports
Provide therapy and consultation in general and special education settings
Collaborate with teachers, paraeducators, families, and support staff
Adapt equipment, materials, and activities based on individual student needs
Maintain evaluation reports, student records, and required documentation
Monitor student progress using data and adjust services when appropriate
Participate in required meetings and professional development
Requirements:
Appropriate Washington OT licensure/certification
OSPI certification/credentialing
Previous school-based OT experience
Knowledge of IEP writing and special education procedures
Availability for an ASAP start
