What You’ll Bring:
- Valid OSPI certification/licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Proven experience delivering OT services in school-based settings
- Comprehensive understanding of IEP development, writing, and the special education process
- Strong ability to work cooperatively with educators, families, and student support staff
- Excellent organizational skills for documentation and case management
In This Role, You Will:
- Evaluate and manage a caseload of students in partnership with educators and other professionals
- Participate in special education evaluations, reevaluations, and IEP meetings to ensure each student’s needs are met
- Develop, implement, and monitor OT services, goals, accommodations, and supports aligned with student data
- Provide therapy and consultation within both general and special education classrooms
- Adapt materials, equipment, and learning activities to foster student independence and participation
- Maintain thorough, accurate student records, evaluation reports, and related documentation
- Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing professional development as required
