Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Vermont OT (Occupational Therapy) Certificate required
- Previous experience working in school-based settings is highly valued
- Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, teachers, and families
- Adaptability to meet the needs of a diverse student population
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct therapy services to K-12 students throughout the district, supporting their educational and functional goals
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP requirements
- Consult with teachers and staff to recommend classroom adaptations and strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Foster an environment that encourages student progress, independence, and engagement
