Desired Qualifications:
- Active Vermont Occupational Therapy Certification (required)
- Previous experience with school-based OT services preferred
- Comfortable supporting students in grades K-12
- Strong communication skills to consult with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Ability to manage a full-time schedule of 35–37.5 hours per week across multiple buildings
- Detail-oriented in documentation and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs and district protocols
- Develop individualized intervention plans to help students succeed in the classroom environment
- Collaborate closely with special education and general education staff across four buildings
- Conduct and contribute to evaluations, write reports, and participate in team meetings
- Offer consultative support and resources to teachers and parents to foster inclusive learning
- Adapt interventions based on student progress and changing needs throughout the school year
