This contract position offers both full-time and part-time (0.5 FTE, 2–3 days per week) options for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. In this role, you’ll become an integral part of a collaborative school community near Blue Springs, MO, working exclusively on-site—no travel between multiple campuses required.
As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll support K–12 students, helping them achieve their goals while benefitting from dedicated paid administrative time for meetings and documentation. This structure ensures a balanced workload and the chance to focus on what matters most: enriching each child’s learning experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Administer occupational therapy evaluations and deliver both direct and consultative therapy in line with students’ IEP objectives
- Foster improvement in fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills within the educational environment
- Collaborate regularly with educators, families, and special education teams to develop and monitor student progress
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, timely documentation
Who We’re Looking For:
- Valid Missouri State Occupational Therapist (OTR) license
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings is highly valued
- Ability to satisfy standard background check and state fingerprinting requirements
- A commitment to teamwork and student-centered service delivery
