Make a difference in the lives of students by providing essential occupational therapy services on a flexible, contract basis. This opportunity calls for an experienced OT or COTA to support 48 students across five buildings. The position is set to start as soon as possible and will continue for a minimum of one month, with the potential for extension.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid OT or COTA license in Missouri
- Experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple buildings
- If applying as a COTA, supervision from an OT will be required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services within a school environment
- Manage a caseload of students (details: 13 students in Building 1, 13 in Building 2, 10 in Building 3, 9 in Building 4, 3 in Building 5), with weekly minutes ranging per building
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs and progress
- Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans that promote student growth and independence
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and communication
