Kindergarten High School Occupational Therapist School Setting in Boston, MA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license or eligibility in Massachusetts
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Ability to design and adapt therapy interventions for students from Kindergarten through High School
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Eagerness to partner with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Comfortable providing therapy in both individual and small group formats
- Willingness to adapt to a hybrid work environment when needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate student needs and develop targeted treatment plans
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, adjusting techniques as needed
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and district requirements
- Consult with teachers and staff to foster inclusive, supportive classrooms
- Provide resources, strategies, and education to school teams and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and help set meaningful, achievable goals
- Support smooth transitions for students as they progress through grade levels
