Qualifications:
- Valid Connecticut Occupational Therapy license (CT OT License) required
- Prior experience delivering OT services in a school environment
- Strong understanding of occupational therapy techniques for pediatric and school-aged children
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide direct OT services for students in grades K-8
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress and participation
- Attend and contribute to IEP and team meetings as needed
- Deliver services in group and individual settings as appropriate to student needs
This contract runs from August 28, 2026, through June 11, 2027, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule (35 hours per week). Compensation ranges from $45 to $50 per hour, paid weekly, allowing you to maximize your expertise and commitment to student growth.
