Key Details:

- Work with preschool (PK) through grade 5 students, including:
- PK-3: Direct service for 3 students
- K-5: Direct service for 8 students, plus one student requiring consultative service only
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license/certification in the state
- Prior experience within a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of best practices in sensory integration, fine/gross motor development, and adaptive strategies for young learners
- Excellent communication abilities to collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Compassion, patience, and flexibility when addressing a variety of student needs across different age groups
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students to determine therapeutic needs in classroom settings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate with students’ academic goals
- Deliver direct OT services, adapt activities for varied learning styles, and foster independence
- Provide consultative support for select students and collaborate with teachers to integrate recommendations
- Track student progress, update goals as necessary, and communicate openly with families
