Qualifications & Experience Needed:
- Current, active NC OT license
- Previous experience in school-based OT, with additional background in home health or healthcare settings a plus
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with teachers, families, and staff
- Ability to create individualized treatment plans and adapt interventions for diverse learning needs
- Experience supporting pediatric or elementary-age populations preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary students with a range of needs, in accordance with IEPs and school goals
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate on progress monitoring with the team
- Implement creative, evidence-based interventions both individually and in small groups
- Participate in parent and staff meetings, multidisciplinary team conferences, and ongoing professional development
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with NC and school requirements
