You'll collaborate with caring school staff and families, providing tailored OT services that foster growth, independence, and academic participation. Your skills will help approximately 18 K–8 students at the Lorain site and about 24 K–12 students in Parma reach their goals through individualized interventions and ongoing support.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Ohio Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Previous experience in a school environment or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and goal tracking
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Adaptability to manage a split caseload and diverse age groups
- Collaborative attitude and commitment to student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop targeted intervention plans for students with a range of needs
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services in accordance with IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and related services professionals
- Travel between Lorain and Parma as needed to meet student needs
