Desired Qualifications:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license issued by the state of Ohio (OH OT license required)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaborative practice
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Willingness and ability to travel between Lorain and Parma locations as scheduled
- A genuine passion for fostering student independence and growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized intervention plans for students at both sites
- Provide direct therapy services and consultative support within the school environment
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to facilitate student success in academic and functional areas
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, contributing to team-based decision making
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and professional guidelines
- Support students’ motor, sensory, and daily living skills to promote their academic participation and well-being
