Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina Occupational Therapy (OT) license is required
- Previous experience providing OT services in a school or pediatric environment is strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload
- Proficient communication and collaboration skills for working with staff, families, and students
- Adaptable, resourceful, and dedicated to serving the needs of children in a school-based environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ occupational therapy needs and develop individualized intervention plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to K-8 students, focusing on supporting their educational participation and functional independence
- Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and families to implement therapy strategies in the classroom setting
- Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and student progress
- Travel between two school sites, delivering consistent and high-quality OT services
