Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR) license issued by the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE)
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy
- Comfortable managing a caseload of 45-60 students with varying levels of service needs
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Organized, flexible, and able to develop tailored treatment plans
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to K-12 students, supporting them from assessment through intervention
- Develop customized therapy plans to aid student participation in academic and everyday activities
- Collaborate with staff to create and integrate strategies accommodating individual student needs
- Conduct evaluations and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal standards
- Provide progress updates to teachers and families and contribute to IEP meetings
- Foster a motivating and inclusive environment for students to thrive
