Occupational Therapist School Setting - Des Plaines, IL

Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
- Comfortable working onsite in a school environment
Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ abilities and create personalized occupational therapy goals
- Deliver therapy sessions that foster student participation and independence
- Partner with teachers and other specialists to integrate interventions into daily routines
- Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Communicate regularly with families to support each child’s success
