Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a current Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and fellow therapists
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Dedication to fostering student independence and participation
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and help develop tailored intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate strategies into the classroom environment
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress
- Empower students to build skills for academic, social, and daily success
